When is it best to visit?  There is more butterfly activity when it is warm and sunny. On Cold rainy days the butterflies slow down flight activity and hide in the trees and plantings to stay warm.

Is it handicapped accessible? Our entry door is 36in. and we have 4-6ft wide limestone pathways.

Do you sell the butterflies? We do not sell butterflies directly out of the flight house, but we do have butterflies that can be ordered for special occasion releases.

Do you have any tropical butterflies (i.e. Blue Morpho)? No, we host only native Michigan butterflies.

How many types of butterflies are in the butterfly house? We will host over 14 species in the course of the season.

What happens to the butterflies in the winter time? Many of the butterflies will be released for seasonal migration, some will live out their lives in the greenhouse.
